This spring, Linda Farrow showed her distinctive sunglasses at Vision Expo East in New York for the first time. Her booth, in the show’s high-fashion Underground, was a major hit, due in no small part to the iconic “mickey” sunglasses made famous by Beyoncé in the “Telephone” video with Lady Gaga. But there’s a lot more to the collection and the designer than that one frame, part of a project done with fashion designer Jeremy Scott.

Farrow has a huge collection of attractive sunglasses, but the real standouts are her projects. Together with fashion designers, she creates unique frames, many of which will jump out from the runway or from the window of even the most cutting-edge boutique. Her own collections are nothing to sniff at, either, with bold lines and sometimes unusual touches, such as the Luxe 17, with its snakeskin eyewire.
